Two sweetheart people hooked us up with napoleon's, custard Danish, custard long John's and some regular glazed doughnuts. Really sweet people with a lot of talent give it a try and leave them a good tip. Unreal stuff I promise.
Got up and drove to Mike’s Bake Shop this morning for donuts. It was just minutes from Ko Olina and the owners were SOOO friendly (even though he jokingly said that I didn’t look like a rock star). The fresh coconut turnovers were AMAZING!
A little hole-in-the-wall Mom and Pop's Bakery. Very well known for their soft tasty and fresh butter rolls, as well as their custard Danish and regular glazed donuts. Don't be expecting to stay on your diet at this place. I never miss an opportunity to get a box of delicious treats when I am on the west side.
Butter rolls of delicious. Glazed doughnuts. Chantilly cake. This place is a great bakery that looks rough around the edges, but don't be fooled; their pastries are tasty and affordable, and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Be brave, try it out, and you will eat well!
I haven't been to this bakery in years , since the government shut down and they stopped accepting ebt . I was so bummed out because the butter rolls , the pigs in the blanket and the custard pastries mmm, Especially the brownies ! Been eating there since I was a little girl . I'm so very very happy that they accept ebt again . I'm definitely going there again tomorrow . Mahalos and much love .
Went on Monday....very friendly owners and amazing pastries. Well worth the visit and best selection on this side of Oahu. Not sure the names of all the items I purchased but didn't find one that we didn't enjoy and to be honest, I am not a big sweets person. The two pigs in a blanket ended up being my lunch lol...I definitely recommend this place (they are closed today (Tuesday)).
Mikes has the best donuts on the West Side! Always fresh and ready to go first thing in the AM.
